Chicken Boarding
Going on holiday and no-one to look after your chickens whilst you are away?
Don't worry we offer a chicken boarding service for your chickens whilst you are on holiday.
Your poultry will have exclusive use of their own Private Coop & Run. We only use plastic coops for boarding purposes as they can be thoroughly cleaned inbetween visits.
PRICE INCLUDES:

Fully sanitised coop on arrival - sanitised with Vet strength disinfectant.

On arrival all birds will be treated for Lice and Mites. (compulsory)

All feed / Grit / Corn / Water & Bedding will be provided. (Fancy Feed Layers & Fancy Feed Mixed Corn)

Birds will be cleaned out at least twice a week.

They will be locked away each evening and let out in the morning.

Shade will be provided as required.

Classic & Cube Coops will be moved onto fresh grass every other day or more frequently if needed.

IF YOU ARE LANDING ON THE 15TH AT 11.00PM AT NIGHT YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK THE GIRLS IN UNTIL THE 16TH!!!

Booking birds into boarding facilities assumes acceptance of our terms and conditions.
What We
Offer
Omlet Classic
These coops will accommodate up to 3 birds. With an extended 3m run they provide a perfect base for your hens holiday.
2023 Price £7.50 per night inc
Omlet Extended Cube
These coops will accommodate up to 8 birds. With an extended 4m run they provide a perfect base for the larger flocks. Please be aware we only have two of these 4m coops and they do tend to get booked up well in advance.
2023 Price £15.00 per night inc.
Ducks
We are more than happy to look after your ducks. They do however require extra work with so there is a Surcharge per day per pen. This is to cover the extra work regarding changing bathing water and moving onto fresh grass daily to prevent water logging.
£2.50 per night per pen
Medication
We are happy to administer medication prescribed by your vet.
£1.00 per treatment per bird
Omlet Cube
These coops will accommodate up to 6 birds. With an extended 3m run they provide a perfect base for the hens holidays!

Worming
We can worm your birds whilst here on holiday - we use Flubenvet Wormer, no egg withdrawl is necessary. 7 day course (Should you be leaving the birds with us less than 7 days then we will give you the remaining treated feed to take home to continue the course at home.)

Xmas / New Year Period
Boarding is available over the Xmas and New Year period. Dates: 23rd Dec - 2nd Jan

How to Book
1 - Email us to check availability for your dates - state drop off day and collection day - making sure that you have observed the drop off and collection times available. In your email please confirm what size pen you are requesting.
2 - We will email back and confirm that we have availability for your dates.
3 - 1-2 weeks before your arrival date we will email you a booking form and a payment link for you to complete. Please ensure that these are completed at least 72 hrs before drop off.
Please be aware that there is a minimum charge of 5 nights per booking, during school holidays the minimum charge is 7 nights.

We work to 30 mins appointments for our customers. Time slots must be arrnaged in advance.

CLOSED BANK HOLIDAYS FOR COLLECTIONS OR DROP OFFS
Unfortunately we have had to stop drop offs / collections in a morning due to the late arrival of some of our boarders... whilst we appreciate that problems arise especially when you are preparing to go on holiday - this often means that we run late for getting to work ourselves. As this is not sustainable we have taken the decision to only accept birds in the evening when we get home from work.
We appreciate that this would mean an extra days payment in some cases so we have decided to now only charge for the number of nights that your birds are now here (basically your collection day is now free to offset the 1st nights charge).
Drop Off & Collection Arrangements
During Covid we were forced to work with a non contact drop off and collection arrangement. It worked so well and with such positive feedback that we have decided to continue with the same procedure moving forward.
Once booking has been paid for we will email you the details of where to drop your girls off. Please leave them in their carrier in the safe place as arranged. We will keep your carrier whilst you are away and your girls will be put back in their carrier ready for collection for you from the same location at the time arranged.
